Position Overview

The Geospatial Project Manager will be responsible for full-cycle oversight of geospatial projects involving aerial data collection, LiDAR acquisition, GIS mapping, and remote sensing workflows. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex geospatial projects from planning through final delivery
  • Oversee data acquisition (LiDAR, orthophoto, aerial) and post-processing workflows
  • Coordinate internal staff, field crews, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain project budgets, timelines, and documentation
  • Manage QA/QC standards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Communicate with clients on project updates and deliverables
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Remote Sensing, Surveying, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing geospatial or remote sensing projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of photogrammetry, LiDAR, aerial mapping, and data analysis
  • Proficiency with Pix4D, TerraScan, Spatix, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Hands-on experience in planning aerial data acquisition and large-scale mapping
  • Excellent leadership, scheduling, and communication skills
  • PMP certification preferred; ASPRS certification is a major plus
