As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CVOR), you will be an integral part of the cardiovascular operating team. You’ll work alongside surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assist during surgical procedures—ensuring patient safety, efficient workflow, and strict sterile protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures
- Ensure sterile field and assist with gowning and gloving the surgical team
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts with circulating nurse
- Handle post-operative cleanup and instrument sterilization
- Follow all safety, infection control, and surgical protocols
- Mentor junior staff and serve as a preceptor across multiple specialties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Proficiency in at least 3 major surgical specialties
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical Assistant certification
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical safety standards
