Job Description

As an Energy Efficiency Expert at BEE, you’ll spearhead initiatives to optimize energy consumption across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors. Key responsibilities include:

• Policy Implementation: Execute national programs like PAT (Perform, Achieve, Trade) and ECO Niwas Samhita to enhance energy efficiency standards.

• Technical Analysis: Audit energy usage patterns, develop conservation strategies, and validate efficiency projects using tools like RETScreen or EnergyPlus.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with state agencies, industries, and international bodies (e.g., IEA) to align projects with SDG 7 (Affordable & Clean Energy).

• Capacity Building: Train municipal bodies and ESCOs (Energy Service Companies) on best practices for energy management.

• Research & Reporting: Publish whitepapers on emerging technologies (e.g., green hydrogen, smart grids) and monitor carbon-reduction KPIs.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Energy) or Master’s in Environmental Science.

• Certified Energy Manager (BEE-CEM) or LEED accreditation.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in energy auditing, climate policy, or utility management.

• Proficiency in data analysis (Python, MATLAB) and energy modeling software.

• Expertise in IECC, ECBC, or ISO 50001 compliance frameworks.

Preferences:

• Candidates with public-sector project experience or PhDs in Sustainable Energy.

• Knowledge of government procurement/tendering processes.
