Job Description

As a Station Controller cum Train Operator (SC/TO) at Maha Metro, you’ll be the frontline ambassador of Pune’s metro network. Your core responsibilities include managing automated train operations, overseeing platform safety protocols, coordinating emergency responses, and ensuring adherence to strict timetable schedules. You’ll work closely with station staff, maintenance crews, and control center teams to resolve operational disruptions in real-time.

Beyond daily operations, you’ll engage passengers through service announcements, crowd management during peak hours, and digital ticketing assistance. Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

Qualifications:

• Mandatory: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering OR
  B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (minimum 55% aggregate).

• Preferred: Certification in Rail Operations or Industrial Safety.

Skills & Experience:

• Basic understanding of metro/railway signaling systems.

• Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English (written/spoken).

• Ability to work in rotational shifts (including nights/weekends).

• Freshers accepted; 1–3 years in transport/logistics adds advantage.

Physical Standards:

• Height: 160+ cm (men), 150+ cm (women).

• Clear vision (6/6) without aids; no color blindness.
